Background

Providence World Mission Intern House (PWC) is located in Jinja, Uganda. It was established in 2010 by Ugandan, Robinah Nakaima. As director and house mother, Robinah host up to 6 interns, mostly from the USA, while they do ministry around Jinja.

The interns assist with programs in youth outreach, mentoring and discipleship, recreational ministry, agriculture, women’s empowerment, school programs and Jinja pregnancy center. 

Jinja is a rural small-sized farming town situated on the source of the Nile River. It is a popular place for young missionaries to visit, network with others, and develop their missionary skills. 

Vision
To lovingly operate a family-model residential children’s home for displaced, orphaned, and vulnerable children by providing a Safe, Stable Christian environment that encourages restoration, education, and enrichment of talents.r
Mission
James 1:27 (NIV) “Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.”
